Ode to Ray

Playing around on AOL one day;

and I came across this guy named Ray.

Got up my nerve and sent an IM

and it's been nothing but uphill since then.

He's funny and witty;

gentle and kind

and truly is

a gem of a find.

He says I was sent to him;

he must be a gift

and he even forgave me

when he was a bit miffed..

He's always in my thoughts

not a day goes by

that I don't stop

and think to myself "why?".

I walk around all day

wearing a big grin

and when we talk at lunch

it helps keep me thin..

An so I write this

and just want to say

you do so much more

than brighten my day..

You make me feel good;

you make me feel strong;

you keep me in line;

stop me from doing wrong..

I have to admit it;

can't deny it anymore

you make me feel things

no one's ever made me feel before..

You're more than a friend;

can't thank you enough

and if you don't like this poem

then I say

"TUFF"!.
